Hi

I'm trying to build a pcb that will need to share a bus, in this bus I want to connect up to 7 other cards, but I would like instead of using a serial bus like I2C or RS485, I need a USB bus.

I was thinking on a PCB with a USB hub circuit and each card can connect to only one usb port, but to connect the modules by the bus, they will need to exclusively connected to one single port.

What type of IC can I use to do this electrical path connection in a way that can be programmable (I was thinking on a bus transceiver) but it will not be optimal

please advice

 

I thinking in crossbar switching, but which IC can be used for this?
