My advanced calculus book certainly achieved that.

Now seriously. No book has really made me cry. But a book that I found extremely sad was Anoine de Saint-Exupéry masterpiece "The Little Prince".

 

Tears doesn't come only when sad... Gratitude, Extreme Happiness, Achievement and some other times too...
