Did replacing R14 solve the problem ?

I also have an issue with this amplifier board with some kind of black "Venom" slime in it ...

I first tough it was a problem with some capacitors and changed a few of them, then I found out that R14 was getting to hot to be working fine : I'm waiting for some replacement parts today.

So my guess is that R14 has a problem, gets very hot and the plastic of the cap starts to melt, like on your picture around the cap.
