Hi Felipe,
If the load cells sensitivity values are rated for 9Vdc and 12Vdc, eg: 2mV/Vext the output will be lower when excited by the 3Vdc of the HX711

So a 12Vdc load cell with a 2mV/Vext , would become 0.5mV/Vext

Resistive load cell outputs are all directly proportional to the excitation voltage. The rest of this post is deleted because it was confusing.

With that low of an output the load cell may not be useful because the amplifier may not provide enough gain.
Why run a load cell at such a low voltage? It also reduces the signal to noise ratio, since the noise voltage does not reduce.

Bill,
You have obviously no idea how the HX711 works.
So why do you insist on posting 'help' on subjects you know nothing about, it just confuses the TS's.

We are supposed to be here to help people with their problems, a comment like it may not be useful, is just another bad guess and is not helpful.
