I am currently looking to design a PCB with an integrated lithium-ion battery (single-cell) BMS. My query is in relation to ground, should they share it? The tp4056 does not mention anything in relation to it, but further research on lithium ions reveals that this is perhaps not the best idea, if so, what is? I also found the MCP73871 which already has a load-sharing feature, how does this compare to the schematic I already have?
