Hello,

This is not really for homework other than for my own learning as a hobbyist, but I'll post anyway in hopes someone could clarify my confusion.

I'm just checking out some LDOs and did line regulation test on it. I've captured the data below:

I've seen datasheets that state line regulation in terms of mV/V (meaning that some amount of mV changes per 1V) and everywhere I read that the formula for line regulation = change in Vo/change in Vin. By "Change in Vo", does it mean take biggest value measured - smallest value measured from the "Vout (mV)" column? In other words would I calculate this as (Line regulation = (Vo max measured - Vo min measured)/(1.98 - 1.66))? Or do I take each line as a change of voltage from the previous row and then do an average of all calculated values?

Just curious how this term is represented.

Your table not showing a systematic error based on input voltage, it is showing random fluctuations. I would use a wider range of input voltages, starting from tle expected output + the dropout voltage and going up the the maximum input voltage. Then you might see a trend.
