Maybe the leaks were intentional by the spooks, all part of a master plan to actually increase security by showing how bad the current state of computer security is.I don't know much about networking, but I've read a few stories on these cia tools. I believe some are written for linux and some for mac.
Evidently.......the release of these has done much, much more damage than snowden ever could. And have been used to crack our own security servers. Let alone private industry.
And after several years of investigation......not a clue of the leaker/traitor.
We are in agreement however, the Supreme Court has ruled countless times that the "representatives" of we the people, did it on our behalf. So, they had our proxy, they used it, and we pay for it. the only way to remove our proxy from them is to vote their ass out.Yeah, and now that you mention it I actually fund them with taxes I have little say over. Thinking something is wrong with this picture.
2016.If spooks wanted to leak those tools......to show our vulnerabilities........do you think they would use a staged phony act of sabotage to do it. Without a fall guy or a resolution.
I have a feeling that our people at the head of these agencies are very political........at least from the way the former are talking on the tv..........and have no fear of under oath lying.
Our fbi, justice department and security services are all political now.
They might have enough data and info.....on everybody......to resist reform.

Didn't know where to put this but, I'm not sure everyone knows about this or not, seems to me on ETO there was a discussion about processors made to be exploited later by the manufacture. I'm not sure if this is the case or not I haven't read through it.

Looks familiar. I think I posted this (or a link to a similar article) somewhere here a few years ago.
With apps moving to the cloud there is almost no reason to run Windows anymore (for most people, and aside from games).
Or, you build your own cloud, at home. With apps moving to the cloud there is almost no reason to run Windows anymore (for most people, and aside from games).
Linux is the best way, IMHO, to stay out of the cloud.
