Hello all,
Total beginner here, this will be my fIrst LED light strip project. I have a wall where I am placing 2 floating shelves. Each will be aboute 4-5' long, and will be about 18-24" apart(one on top of the other). I'd like to know if my plan makes sense, and see if there is anything I have forgotten or need to adjust for.

Parts:
LED Strip: Tunable White FCOB Strip - 12V Tunable white strip.
Controller: Matter over WiFi Controller
Power Source: Power Supply

Questions:
1.) Any issues with the parts above working together? Is the LED strip overkill for this application? I don't care about RGB, i just want a dimmable, tunable white.
2.) What wires do I need to go from the controller to the 1st strip and between the 1st and 2nd strip? I'll be fishing them inside a wall. The LED strip comes with 3 wires and a short connector.
3.) I'm assuming they should be soldered to the strip since its in the wall?
4.) The power supply and controller will be in a cabinet that is about 3 feet below the 1st shelf. Is having a run of a few feet between the controller and led strips a problem?

Is there anything I have not addressed in this situation?

Welcome to AAC.

The LED strip and the controller appear to be compatible. The link to the power supply is broken.

The distance should not be a problem at all, so long as the wire used to connect them isn't somehow ridiculously thin.
