Yeah, I did all that damage trying to track down a "short". I'm guessing 0.43 Ohms will register continuity on my meter. Guess I'll have to keep digging if I want to get this thing back working. I had standby voltage, but not the higher 12V-20V outputs.

I see a broken Zener diode there.

Most of the big brands now have innards made by the Turkish Vestel company, and the boards are usually identified on the screen print legend - getting hold of a whole board may not be ALL THAT difficult.

It looks like the power board is an LGP47-10LS. Looks like they run $40-$50. I'm hesitant to buy one at that price though, because the mainboard hdmi chip was flaking out, which is the reason I had the back off to begin with. For the $100 I'd spend on the 2 boards I could buy a complete tv.

If its a Vestel PCB - lots of TVs contain them.

People break flat screens all the time - just keep an eye open for something similar getting kerbed.
