hi,
Check the electrolytic caps on the back light power supply.
Change any caps that are showing signs of bulging at the end, also getting hot.
I change about 3 caps when fixing the SMPS problems, get low ESR replacements.

Run the TV for about 5 minutes, power off and unplug from the mains.
Use your finger and thumb to check the heat.
If you know for sure which electrolytic caps are part of the back light psu, change them all.
I usually change about/all, 3 caps, its a common problem on TV's and PC monitors.

hi it`s me again. i dont know if I have understood right that with Backlights.

I have replaced all the caps on Power Board except One. Now the TV is turning on for second and then i think it`s self turning off, not only the backlights.

Of course i will search the answer but wanted to ask here too.

The board is lgp32-08H

thanks in advance

I see from the www about that model that this shutting off can be from shorted transformer for the backlight X or more shorted transofrmers.
I see about measuring the resistance between coils. Can i do that/successfully/ with soldered transformers on the board of tv?
