hello people

I am in need of your help, I am trying to design a circuit (latching circuit) that will monitor a soft starter.
so what I want is that if the starter trips a light should come on and stay on until a reset button is pressed, the light should be energized by a contact and the light should stay on even if the contact changes its state.

please help!!!

 

Here's a typical latching circuit using a relay.
The "Push to Make" is the contact from the soft starter.
The "Push to Break" is the reset.
Will that do what you want?
