can anyone help, i need to make my own latch relay. i know there is a way of doing, making the normal double pole relay a latch relay. i just remember how.

 

All you need do is put one of the normally open contacts in parallel with the switch that turns the relay on. That keeps it on.

You will need another switch to turn it off.
