There is another method to do the trigger function as the new circuit below and it is use the Set(6) pin.

Success .......I used your last schematic.
I simply ignored the right side of the chip except Pin 14 (Vcc)
I can latch the relay. and Reset it using the button.
Attached the motion sensor to the emitter of Q1. and the circuit responded beautifully.

I would like to thank you for your support and persistence in helping me out.

Now is the time to address the logistics. The sensor has a feature whereby you use LDR soldered next to the PIR sensor that will not activate the Lamp during day time. This is great and it is working beautifully. With your circuit I will latch the Lamp on. before getting into bed.

Using the button It will toggle the lamp off. If I go out of bed The Lamp will be on again , because it is dark. Perfect.
