Can you provide a schematic?

In all likelihood, you'll probably find it less frustrating to go to a second hand store and buy one for about $5-10.

You can find laptop power bricks for free at a recycling dump. I wouldn’t spend time trying to repair one unless I had a schematic and an oscilloscope, and maybe not even then.

Change all the capacitors they dry out. I have fixed many that way.
If you get a used one they are most likely ready to quit.
If you change the cap's and put in 10,000 hour ones it will be better than new.
Manufactures put in cheep caps to keep up there sales numbers.

Not to mention, you shouldn't be messing with a transformerless supply unless you know exactly what you are doing. In other words if you have to ask you shouldn-t be messing with it.

Ask yourself if it is worth $5 to $19 US to put your life in danger.
