I have little idea what the problem was. Sounds like it was probably something with the server that had to resolve itself. What time was this? I can see if there was other successful activity during that time frame. That might indicate whether the problem was on your end (or possibly with your AAC account) or on the server end.

I wonder if it's something like a firewall issue on an intermediate router??? Or perhaps something with your ISP?

 

Is the problem limited to just being able to post in that one thread? You were at least able to get this thread started and PM me at about the same time.

When you are having problems posting, are you able to still view the thread?

 

I keep getting the same error on that thread regardless of device, location, or ISP. I currently cannot post to that thread.

I have exactly the same message when I try to quote someone and click "Insert quotes..." button.
But when I "mark the text" and click "Reply" button no error. What is interesting is that in PM messages the "Insert quotes..." button works just fine, without any error.

I have had this "error" for quite some time. I just got used to it.
Also, I'm using old style and Firefox on win10.

That's so odd. Some posts go, some don't.

 

I think that the whole Site-Server setup needs a complete re-think.
This Site sometimes needs a good ~5-minutes to refresh, but other times it's close to instantaneous.
I might expect this in the '90's, but not in the 2020's.
Overloaded-Server is my guess.

Perhaps it's geo-location dependent? Never had a problem accessing the site from here in the UK.
