What is the problem?

Is it to build an amplifier for his signal generator?

OR,

Is it to get a differential signal from his signal generator to an amplifier that he is building?

The project, from post#1, is "to do analysis of a rectifier circuit", with no hint as to what sort of data would be collected for that analysis.

 

As I said, I believe I have mis-understood the problem.

Most signal generator's signals....are reference to ground.

I thought he wanted a signal referenced to itself. i.e., differential. balanced.

No need to apologize.
The TS did want that as well, which is included in isolation. But my experience over the years helps sometimes, and being aware of the challenges of testing some kinds of circuits.
