Wow, 500,000 refugees thru a country of 4 million. Have they killed many people?
They cant find us on the map.
There was no murders as I know but even if there was we would never hear about them since they are all peaceful and kind in eyes of Merkel.
Im just going to say that 80% of them lack manners, are rude, ungrateful , dirty and refusing to adjust.

Until the US, UK, Russia and 'responsible' European countries say 'enough' and take solid military action involving ground troops the situation will not be resolved. The attitude is reminiscent of the 1930s. Pandering to the aggressors and not taking firm action until it was too late.

Why would anyone with an once of sense want to send our troops into this shitfight. Its the Arabs fight let them sort it out. What is Saudi Arabia doing apart from sitting on the side lines.
How many refugees are going to other Arab countries for refuge? They all want to come to the west to non-muslim countries it appears. To look for a better life!. But they want to bring their religious bigotry with them and we happily fall over ourselves so we don't "offend".

The problem is the countries in the area have a really big unemployment problem. Most in the 20's to 30's and mostly with the young people. That's part of the joy of ISIS. Young unemployed guys are easy to find. Give them a job, a big gun and a girlfriend and away you go.
Jordon and Lebanon have some camps (the ones Ben Carson speaks so highly of) but they have no jobs and lack the money to just have camps that don't produce anything.

Germany on the other hand has a labor shortage.

ISIS wants to use our news media to spread their terror.
They use social media. The news picks up the propaganda from there.

That does not diminish my statement about them travelling all over Europe or anywhere else and not killing a single person. They just wait for their opportunity to get to their "hunting grounds." They need the high profile target and the media does it's best by being useful idiots for the cause.

I like my chances as well.

I'm not some congress critter or the president who "thinks" they can make the US impervious to attack. I'm sure the Congress in Dec 1941 stated the famous words "we need to prevent something like this from ever happening again." That is a fools errand.

If and/or when we get attacked, if they unleash the big dogs, ISIS would be a minor footnote, at best, in the history books.

Perception is reality. The President, it doesn't matter which party, will want to be a consensus builder working with the United Nations for a political solution. The League of Nations, formed after "the war to end all wars (WWI) didn't prevent WWII. The United Nations will suffer the same fate.

Yes, the President can restrict people from entering the United States. Just because the press reported from a press release that the criteria for entry is "more stringent" doesn't make it so. Adding one criteria can make something "more stringent".

There is a world of difference between taking action and looking like your taking action.

I'm one hundred percent certain the U.S. Armed Services will be ready once the President decides to act. I might not be able to say that in the future.

"What's the use in this superb military you're talking about if we can't use it?"

Personally I like Rubio and Carson the most, though Carson pops out the most because he's not an actual politician. That can't be said of any of the other candidates, and at this point someone without a background in politics (to an extent, of course) may have a better idea of what the country needs and how to make it work, rather than just telling the people what they want to hear and doing nothing about it. Rubio has his feet on the ground and, as far as I can tell, is honest (which is more than can be said of Clinton). It's a tossup for me between Rubio and Carson, then comes Bush, and the very bottom is Trump, then Hillary. I haven't done research on any of the other candidates, but I know that I don't want Trump (a rotten egotistical bigot) or Clinton (a spoiled compulsive liar) in office.

Hopefully this won't turn to political to quickly. :D

From the sites and sounds of TV it sounds like ISIS is coming to gun us all down and people are afraid..
While what happened in California is indeed a tragedy there have been far more mass shootings by run of the mill people than terrorists. Is this a hang over from 9/11 or is it just media hype.
My life has been far more adversely affected by telemarketers than all the Taliban and Isis combined could ever hope to.

Easy now or we might have to send you over to ETO to moderate. :D
Sorry guys, it's an inside joke. I tried to broach this subject on another forum and it got shut down before anyone responded.

Trump it the atypical brash New Yorker. I remember him from the 70s and 80s. Trump Towers, Atlantic City casino, et al.

He's a household name because of "Celebrity Apprentice" where his brashness has been on display for all to see.

Clinton ... her political activities go back to the early 70s. Her work on the Watergate hearings shows she can be as brash as Trump.

The negative press will appear from the "opposition research" forces in each camp.

If you are referring to the "other forum" I think you are, your question there was quite different :p

I am actually quite surprised how civil this thread has remained, especially over the course of 8 pages! I guess it's because just about everyone agrees who the worst candidates are :p

I could post the same one except it is gone from the ETO site. :D
Had it gotten as far out of hand as this one I probably would have understood closing it. What bothered me was that ETO doesn't follow it's own rules, and worse can't explain why they don't either change them or follow them. :( I suspect it was just because you made a mistake, but I don't know that.
Anyway, the objective was the same so I got my answer here, learned a lot, and gained respect for this site.
OMG, did I just say something nice about Joey?

Should make for some great debates and TV ads.
