In this picture, at the top, to the left of the row of capacitors, is a three-legged black component. It says 1AM with an H on its side and a couple of dots below the sideways H. Is that a voltage regulator?

 

Nope. It's an NPN transistor.

I don't think so. I think it's a dual transistor.
