I have never had cable. The first time I saw cable was in the 70's. It had commercials and I thought I would never do cable and I have not. I get about 30 channels OTA here and I have a digital recorder so I can get more TV that I have time to watch.

I agree that this is a "snake oil" sales gimmick. The antenna could be based on a single dipole antenna like the bowtie antenna. Some one on another forum in AAC did a test and comparison between these new antennas and the classic bowtie. I think the best you can do is a double bowtie with a reflector. I beat all the new ones. I would reference the thread but I can't find it now. If I find it I will reference it unless someone here finds it first.

It is like the advertising for the old boom boxes. 2000 milli amps power. That was just two watts but it was a bigger number so many uninformed bragged about. I disappointed a few of them.
