Apparently you do. If you didn't, you would have stayed quiet about my opinion. I welcome your opinion if you have more to add.Who cares whether you agree - its an option that the TS can consider or not as the case may be.

You tried to score points - I took them back.Apparently you do. If you didn't, you would have stayed quiet about my opinion. I welcome your opinion if you have more to add.
Next time say what you mean. If it matters to you, I'm ok with that. Just don't say, "who cares" when you really do care - you really look weak when you act that way.You tried to score points - I took them back.
Now that's the kind of thing that will do the job. Thanks.Hello,
You couls have a look at stackable or multiple potentiometers.
The attached datasheet will show you some examples.
Bertus
wouldn't work unless the op-amps have some a "gain" pin which is completely isolated from the signal path of the op-amps.I should have said, a dual op amp is cheaper than a trim pot.
He'd either need one dual op amp and one trim pot or two trim pots (or an apparently rare dual trim pot (that may be the most expensive option based on rarity if it even exists).
Although I am not immediately visualizing how a two op amps amd one pot will control his volume without a schematic.
How would vactrol solve my problem?Unlikely to be cheaper - but Vactrols may be worth a look.
You are comparing apples and potatoes (further apart than apples and oranges ).
Just got to try and score points don't you.............................Next time say what you mean. If it matters to you, I'm ok with that. Just don't say, "who cares" when you really do care - you really look weak when you act that way.
A pot is short for potential divider - 2 series resistors, the important thing is the ratio of one to the other. How would vactrol solve my problem?
