I spent an hour reading about the Vedic period for some background.

The most interesting fact I came away with, was that the oldest spoke wheels have been found in north central Russia.
They say the first chariots were built there.

I wonder where the first log cross section was used for a wheel? A potter wheel perhaps?

And when they went from solid wheel carts to spoke wheel carts.........is that when chariots were born?
