Isn't the solution easy? Why does a phone need to ring if there is no approved caller ID. Why not reject any call who's ID isn't on an approved list, including "RESTRICTED?"

I should at least be able to block calls from numbers I know are a scam, but my dumb phone doesn't have that feature.

 

Great suggestion...for a feature that I don't have, too.
