Hi Guys,

I am looking for some help, can anybody point me in the right direction as to where I can find more specific information on International standards for electronics design. I am looking for design, manufacture and relevant safety requirements etc. I am trying to learn more about the process, I have searched through google found it a bit overwhelming with the amount of information that turns up. I was hoping people could refer me to a few of the fundamental standards.

Where ever you look, you will find an overwhelming amount of information because electronic design, manufacture and safety requirements cover a vast amount of possible situations.
Start with specific requirements for a well defined subject and expand from there.

And region as the standards are not the same everywhere.

 

Standards Organizations require funding. A major source of funding is selling the results of their work. Unless you have the ability to pay up for the actual documents, most of what you will find is of limited utility.
