I paid a visit to Mr. Chips today. He's a pretty cool guy. He showed me his super cool dungeon/laboratory/workshop, I'd just like to say, if you think yours is cool, you haven't seen his. I saw his homemade raspberry pi first hand, and all I can say is that what he's done with the software eclipses having built a raspberry pi from scratch.

I enjoyed my visit, although it was cut short - my wife was feeling sick from the pregnancy.

I was just wondering who here on the forum has met other members in real life. Mr. Chips mentioned having met another member, but I'll let one of them self identify if they want.

So, who has met who here?

A reasonable concern.
Yes. I chafed at the idea for some time before I became at peace with The Master's decision, but it is more than obedience that I have avowed, it is subservience. A costly price, but well justified and the only way to survive until my benefits kick in and I can have this hump surgically removed.

I am surprised The Master lets you post your cryptic but identifiable location.

I'm surprised that Master even has a dungeon, considering that the water table in Florida is about 3 feet below the surface half of the time!

I 'm very pleased to hear about this meet-up! There shouldn't be boundaries between people who want to meet, regardless of the nature of their first acquaintance.

I haven't been abroad lately, but I 'll definitely try to see some of you people when I do.

I strongly doubt you would recognize me nowdays, that was around 80+ pounds ago, and I have gone though a lot of other changes.

I still make HamCon and other events though.

Bill,

You might be correct. I'll just have to make next year's to find out. Maybe all the DFW area AAC members could be there.

My beard is grayer than in that picture.
