They have a database of components, you select the components you have on the website, plug the remote into a usb cable, download your configuration to the remote. Good to go.

I got one for the wife and it works well. She couldn't (wouldn't?) deal with 3 or 4 separate remotes to play a movie on my home theater.They have a database of components, you select the components you have on the website, plug the remote into a usb cable, download your configuration to the remote. I did the test... and the hum did not go awayBefore buying more parts, you could test this theory by disconnecting cable from the tv and seeing if other tv (OTA, Tivo, DVD, etc.) still has the hum.
If breaking the ground loop by disconnecting the cable kills the hum, you're on the right track. If not, save your money!
Sorry it's not fixed, but glad the test proved useful. Gopher's advice sounds solid. Let us know how it goes.I did the test... and the hum did not go away... I'm going to start exploring Gopher's suggestion now.
