Hello,

It can be that Corel is using very specific parts of windows, that WINE can not provide yet.

Did you ever had a look at the GIMP?
This is a free drawing program available for windows AND linux:

Hello,

With the current distributions of linux a lot of tools are given for the configuration.
In the OpenSuse, the linux distribution I use, you have YaST:
YaST.jpeg
In some cases the tools will not work, as hardware specific configuratiosn have to be done.
An example is my Epson scanner, that needs the path to the firmware file in the scannertool config file.

I run XP in VirtualBox under Ubuntu Linux specifically for the two programs I need that won't run under Wine. You could do this for Corel Draw.

Yup. But who doesn't have one?
I am guessing OP. The level of clueless, that OP is showing, tells me they are Windows user who needs a free OS, most likely because they can not or do not want to spend money.

To OP. Forget Corel Draw and use Linux native Gimp.

Hello,

You have tried to load the windows version.
You will need to install the linux version using the software manager of ubuntu.

In the linux (OpenSuse) I use the software manager looks like this:
gimp_in_softwaremanager.jpeg
