(semi electric) 12vdc Apollo Pallet Stacker. i would like to install a wireless controller up/down ( range 20 to 30 feet) on a pallet stacker & please be specific. like something on amazon website. it will need to actuate a solenoid or maybe a relay(contact hold). since the up/down (on the stacker) has to be manually held to raise & lower, i will need a controller that will hold contact until a limit switch (at a designated stop point) activates & opens circuit. if i have to hold the button down (on the remote) for the duration of lift (stop point) batteries will not last long. thx

I'm going to venture a guess that people are going to be reluctant to suggest any parts to modify a safety circuit to a device they have no idea what it is being used for. OSHA would have a field day if this is for a business and something went wrong.
i am a 1 man operation in my shop. i store material in the loft of my shop. this gives me more floor space. i mounted this lift stationary to replace my rope & pully. standing at the lift holding the handle while lifting a load is a waste of time. would be nice to lift the load while i am also busy working..... suggest ; i would not recommend doing this but if its for material only then this 'item' ('model #' 'on amazon') will work. OSHA is more than welcome to inspect this lift, plus, you can buy these lifts with the remote, but they cost a lot more.

OK, the fatal problem that I see is a fairly powerful device running in an unsupervised manner. My suggestion is a hoist with enough power to move rapidly with a load. Then a pendant with up and down buttons. Much faster than the pallet stacker and a whole lot safer than even an unmodified stacker.
