I'm not entirely clear on the nature of your question. ANY RF source can be connected to an antenna. That does not mean it should be connected to that antenna. In some cases it might even be illegal to do that and you could end up in the federal slammer. The other reason for not doing it on a whim is that if there is an impedance mismatch you could end up by destroying the source with the risk of death or serious injury.
