I am transmitting a 30Khz burst (two full cycles) through an IR LED and the receiver is a tsop31230 (supply voltage=3.3V). The receiver shows no change in its output... Any ideas? Is there anything wrong with the transmitted signal's form?

According to the datasheet I looked at, minimum burst length is 10 cycles per burst.

Two cycles is nowhere near enough.
