I found a NIDA Model 470 oscilloscope but scouring the internet, I can't find anything about this scope. Like no info on it's bandwith, year, or any documentation on it.

Has anyone ever encountered this scope or know what it's value is?
How does it fare against the DSO's like Hantek DSO5072P? Or other analog scopes of its time?

Some ebay listings seem to include "Model 470" but some also describe it as "470mhz". I doubt that the model number is it's bandwidth.
Can anyone confirm?

I've saw one being sold for 80 dollars at a thift shop.

It's not going to indicate bandwidth. The fastest sweep range for the timebase should give you an idea. It would be pointless to put a faster sweep setting than the scope supported.

For that price, I'd go for a name brand scope like Tektronix; used of course.
