Has anyone hear about the laser marking machine ? I need a machine which can mark some patterns on metals and alloys product.

For serialization of stainless steel parts we used an electro etching process. I knew a guy years ago who managed to come up with a dental LASER and used it for placing images on rifle stocks and light etching of metal parts. The issue is how deep you want to make an impression.
