1. What will happen in the circuit when I will connect an inductor |Z| ≤ 9 Ohms
in parallel ?

(This will shorten the circuit) ?

2. What will happen in the circuit when I will connect an inductor |Z| ≥11k Ohms,
in series ?

thx

In parallel or in series with what?

What does it mean to "shorten" a circuit?

You need to provide a LOT more information.

You are expected to provide your best attempt to answer your homework question. We will then help guide to through the next step.

Inductors in parallel in an AC circuit combine just like resistors in a DC circuit. For two resistors in parallel

\( R1\; ||\; R2\;=\;\cfrac{R1\; \times \;R1}{R1\;+\;R2} \)

Apply the same rule for the Inductive Reactance and you have your answer. If you have the intestinal fortitude to work with impedances, then:

\(Z1\;||\;Z2\;=\;\cfrac{Z1\;\times\;Z2}{Z1\;+\;Z2} \)

where

\( Z_L\;=\;R_L\;+\;j\omega L \)

which you can expand to get real and imaginary parts or express in polar form if you prefer.
