DSC_1046.JPG Hi everyone, have problem on multimeter AC reading, I opened and spotted burned part but since I m not expert in this field please help me to clearly identify part and see with what I can replace it. It's on R29 place, obviously resistor? Is this something you call overload protection? And what 75S stands for?
Sincerely,

Thank you

Additional info and/or photos would be helpful.
What is the brand and model number of the meter?
What does the front face look like?
Can you zoom out so that we can see the rest of the package?

If the component R29 is on the input socket of the A or mA input, then it is a fuse.

I can't unscrew board, it's hard soldered.
Name of multimeter is UNI-T ut201
That's ok. I meant the face of the meter so that we know what kind of meter it is.
Dave has confirmed it is a clamp meter.
It can still be a fuse on the Volt, Ohm and Diode input.

I also think it's a fuse..bcz I touched high voltage with this meter.. so you think I can just replace it with anything? any recommendations

Works everything except DC voltage reading. When in DC mode there is continuous beep.
That doesn't make any sense.
What is your meaning of "Works"?
Going by the photo I see seven switch positions starting with OFF.
With no test leads plugged into the meter, what does the meter do and display in each position?

OFF
VDC
VAC
Ω
Diode/Continuity
Diode/Continuity (after pressing SELECT)
2/20A
200/400A
