I am looking to design a variable RF (Radio Frequency) generator.

More specifically I want a DC generator to control the amplitude of the RF - the higher the DC output of the generator the higher the amplitude, and the lower the DC output of the generator the lower the amplitude.

Any ideas?

 

What is RF range of freqs ? Range of gain control in db ? Available control
voltage ?

No specifics yet, I'm just looking for the general concept. I've taken a look at the links you posted but am not ready to dive into such specifics. I'm looking for the general concept - like a block diagram.
