This method of using phasors (spinning wave pointers) is at the heart of Feynman's path integral (The Sum over Paths Theory) QM solution but instead of simple harmonic oscillators he used quantum amplitudes.

Yes, there are n-dimensional Fourier Transforms using vectors/matrices. Normally for the semiconductor applications I'm familiar with we use Reciprocal space instead of 'Real' space via a Fourier transform for things like X-ray inspection of dosing levels that look at damage to the crystal lattice from ion beams or other processes. I don't GROK the math behind it, only the results.

I'm not. I like cat videos as much as the next person but I have always been suspicious of, and steered clear of, Facebook and Twitter and everything else you might call social media. (AAC forums excepted.) I can't really point to any one thing, but social media always seemed to me vaguely scammy and unclean like a bus station washroom. I don't want to hang around with the general public. To some degree I guess that makes me a bigot. I can live with that.
