Not internationally. but they say this country has been joined on "Paris Convention" since a long time ago. I'm not sure that means i'm protected internationally too or not.
MA, so I'm working on a product design, it's called an Aquaponic system, you put a fish inside a fish tank that has stones in containers on the lid. Then you can add seeds and grow your Herbs year round indoors or start your plants from scratch ready for planting in your Garden in summer, this system has nothing proprietary about it, people have been doing it for years. I was in the pet store yesterday when a girl working there was helping me pick out a submersible pump, when I mentioned what I was doing and my plan to get an Rpi to run the pump and other systems. My goal is an automated feeder as well as cycle the pump and grow lights if needed. Your system might work well for my needs.

Anyway, she was interested in this because she wants a better way to spray a lizard while she's at work, apparently the one she has isn't doing it correctly so, I suggested a device that could sync with a network clock, rather than just run off a counter.

@joeyd999 built a temp sensor I would like to incorporate, but I'm not sure if it's compatible for a system like this.

Yes, as you mentioned, this system is able to sync with a network clock too (still i'm working on the timers and calendars though). I guess what is more important, is the system is able to send a feedback to the server (I forgot to mention to it in the brochure). That means you can check it out how it works. for example, you connect a temp sensor to one of an analog input of the module, and put a button on your virtual control box for reading the temp value. then when you push the button, it will print the temperature (programming of this module is like VB and C). Or you have sold your device to your customer, but your customer feels the device is not sensitive enough, then you can improve and change the sensitivity condition of the sensors in the source code, from your workplace and upload it on the customer's device.

As I had mentioned earlier, I'm not a programmer. I did learn a system of drag and drop graphic system made by Crestron, they have a box with the GPIO's but it's a very expensive system. I was going to try and create a pic program but, your Pi when complete will function well under the right conditions. I learned a little VB and C# but, today couldn't tell you what I learned in that class. The only thing I remember was my assignments requiring forms with boxes for data input and output, then linking them to code. Neither am I good at Electronics, but if a system is created I can assemble those components and test them. e.g. load firmware code etc.

kv

Edit: In addition the girl I spoke to earlier at the pet store has an Uncle who works as a programmer for Apple, so she could have him code and setup her spray system.

If you are a programmer you can make changes in the source code of the module, and if you are not, simply you can drag the tools and drop them on the control box and then set them on the pins and the compiler will fill the source code automatically (like the video). the compiler that i have made still is so simple with a few tools, even fewer than the module's current real abilities, but i will develop it in the future.

Maybe creating systems dev shows off your product, as soon as I finish my proto type and system we can record that as well, further simplifying the use for the general public as well as system designers.

Ok, MA... I've quickly gone through your document a few times, and here are a few preliminary questions and observations:

  • Is the brochure saying that the module can only be controlled through the wicard.net server?
  • Does it also mean that it can only be programmed through the wicard.net server?
  • Can the module be made fully independent from the wicard.net server?
  • What's the specific MCU architecture being used? PIC? AVR? ATmega?
  • What's 20 line GPIO/PCInt/PWM, do you mean "20 available GPIO/PCInt/PWM"? Is every single one of those 20 pins capable of GPIO, and PCInt and PWM?
  • What's "1 Signal Channel" (you mistyped it as "Siganl"), what type of signal?
  • Is the TWI mentioned compatible with I2C?
  • Why Infrared remotes? please clarify
  • What do you mean with the "Station and Access Point mode" distinction? Please clarify
  • Standard pin count is done in a counter-clockwise manner, as seen from the top of the chip or assembly. You have inverted this standard, and that's not good.
  • The wrong colors are being used in the pin description table, and also in the module's top view image.
I have improved the brochure and here's the new revision:
PDF: https://drive.google.com/open?id=12SviBBUoK6YSDZ-pEWgk1P6GnXSPK_N8
.docx: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1KApra0S5zBiaIbg4unoeVBTd-VFDi5tC

Also I have updated the firmware and now all of the io pins (except one of them) can be used as a signal module. all of the pins can be PWM at the same time, but only one of them can be as an active signal modulator, (Like ADC channels).

Definitely an improvement. Let me go through it a bit, and I'll be back with my comments.

Ok Thanks :)
Proto type tank is built, I need a submersible pump, LED UV Lamp, possibly a heater but, this is indoor system so most likely I won't need a heater. I need to know the on/off times for the submersible pump but the type of plants can determine that, I will also need a light meter to provide on/off for the LED UV lamp / light meter will determine low level vs high level, I'm thinking maybe I can pulse width modulate the light, not sure about that yet though, maybe 25% - 50% - 75% - 100% duty cycle.

I've never grown anything so I need someone who is good at it explain what I can or should do. To much light, to little water or to much water.

Yes and no. Just letting him know as soon as I get the other parts, I'm interested in his device and program, then I'll put it in the projects thread.

I'd like to see if his product will solve what I intend to do with my Aquaponic system.

If you make a better mouse trap it better be better. Theres a lot of light control esp based stuff out there.
Just saying

I will make a video to show how the features of module works as soon as i upgraded some parts of the module firmware and the compiler.

unlike microcontrollers, PWM channels of this module is very easy to setting up.

My profile picture is the first WiCard module that i had made about 2 years ago. This is the reason of the pincount. I had a plan to make a "Port" with 15*2 pins (slot) for my module, for example you connect the module on the port of your TV and your TV can turns to monitor of a computer which is placed on my server room... I couldn't find suitable slot in the international shops, so I decided to make a module like a micro controller, but i couldn't find something like IC pin, so I have used pin headers instead... For the third revision of WiCard i had a plan for making a very tiny chip (I know a little bit about designing chipset)... And now... Nothing :D

Hi again,

I have asked from members of this forum to help me to improve the datasheet and brochure and fining a way for my business. I understand helping people to doing something like that for free isn't easy at all, specially if those people live in another countries...

So i decided to change the type of my work. I mean i don't want to sell my module to the final customers in a high quantity, Now, i am willing to sell my module plans, details, firmware, databases and etc to the one company (or person) which is able to produce and sell it and they can use their own brand for this product. Also i am willing to support and upgrade the firmware of the module after i sell it.

* Important Note
to @cmartinez , @killivolt , @wayneh , @ericgibbs and the other people who are viewing this comment:
If you find a company (or person) like that, I'm willing to pay 10% on the contract amount to you. The contract amount that i suggest is total wage of 4 electronic and software engineers for two years work in USA, but you can try more or less.

If you want to do it for me, send me an e-mail: (email address removed by moderator)

I will send a sample module and some technical details to you to finding the producer.

Regards
MVT

@bertus

Hi bertus, Can you remove this thread, i have put some private information about my product in this thread and i don't know what happened to the members of this thread, probably they have unwatched it and i really think it is because of my nationality... How ever the information on this thread is not useful for any one (and me). So please remove this thread.

Thank you.

hi MA321,
I do not believe other posters have unwatched your Thread due to lack of interest or because of your Nationality.

Initially you were asking questions why your product was not being accepted by manufacturers.
We suggested possible reasons why you had the problem and suggested alternative methods of promoting your product, which initially seemed to interest you as a solution.
We also helped you edit and proof read your documentation,

All the above help and advice, required that your helpers gave their personal time and effort in an attempt to help you.

You again changed direction completely, saying that you are now looking for a single buyer for your product rights.

I retired and closed down my electronics company a long time ago, otherwise I would have been interested in your offer.

Regarding Nationality, I had a very good working relationship with a number of Agents in Asia selling my products.

Sorry, you're right.

I don't know what to do, my teammates don't want to work for me anymore, because i haven't paid their salary.

National market needs a lot of bribe and connections and international market is too limited for where i live.
