So what's the problem then, just connect the pump to the mains with a separate switch, and remove the pcb,, what does this circuit board do?

Thanks Dodgydave; i could have done that but i was afraid to damage the motor pump, and at this time i'm not there ,i have a house in Azores Portugal where i went to spend a few days, where i have this hydromassage-bathtub,i brought this control board with me to US to see if i can have some help here and assurance that i don't burn the pump motor, the best thing would be if i could repair this board that has a sensor, relay, transistors caps and resistors and diodes and transformer, that i checked and check OK,only the 3 NXP semicodutors i did not check; see links .

The cd4060 is a timer, cd4013 a flip-flop, cd4093 nand schmidt trigger, it's possible the pcb is a timer control for the pump with water sensor,..

Looks like the board is intended to receive input from a level sensor and to output an enabling signal for a LED. Is that water level or massage intensity level?
Can you describe the pump action when it's working in the tub? Does it pulse the water flow or pump it smoothly?

Thanks Alec; all i know when i used this tub a few years ago before i came to the USA permanently and did not use it for a few years ,i had to fill the tub with water to a certain level in order to the sensor to activate the motor pump when i pushed the switch,i guess when electronic stuff is not used for a long gong time stuff goes bad, well when i go back next year i will try to shunt the motor pump strait to the mains and see what happens,no big deal,it cannot go any worse then it is.
