I have a question about controlling my HTS Switch via USB. I have a HTS Switch with a Schmitt Trigger and I want to control it using USB to TTL converter. Is it possible to use this converter: http://www.ftdichip.com/Products/Cables/USBRS232.htm to get a TTL Signal from my USB? I want to get pulsed voltage peaks to trigger the Schmitt trigger at certain times for some seconds.
As I am a newbie in this topic I have no Idea how to do it. I wanted to write a programm that sends pulses to certain times to the TXD cable and trigger the Schmitt trigger. Is it possible? If yes, which language do I use to get the pulses via USB?
