How's the weather?

My issue is, I've had damage caused by "remnant" hurricanes, despite living 300+ miles from the coast.
And a tree dropped into my sister's bedroom in Indianapolis. That is an isolated incident, not widespread danger to life and property. You can call storms unpredictable all you want, but I predict a hurricane will not have sustained winds over 100 MPH after crossing several hundred miles of land.

And people get swallowed up by sink holes in @#12's neck of the woods. Don't even need a storm for that.

Only it's not so isolated.

I don't recall anyone saying it will. I'm guessing what each of us considers "moderate" risk is very different. When stuff comes crashing through my roof, I consider that a risk.

Define, "Tried".
This comes from a PM between me and Martinez wherein I described the guy who wanted to, "go get some menudo" every time he got high on weed...which was way too often. Maybe it was, "comfort food" for him. For me, it was a lot of cayenne pepper in a bowl of cow pie soup.:(

Then there is a band called Menudo. Perhaps you thought I was trying out their musical offerings?

And so you spent all this effort to contradict the idea that hurricanes won't (present widespread danger to life and property after they are hundreds of miles from the ocean)???

My nephew's wife also talks constantly when she has no point to make.

All what effort? I've been talking about moderate risk form the start. No idea what you've been talking about.

My nephew's wife also talks constantly when she has no point to make.

It is dreary and 47 here now, and will be below freezing tonight for the first time since early last spring. I had thought about going to Columbia, MO to see the Vols play tonight, but am glad that I did not. It's supposed to be gusty and 30 at kickoff time. Too cold for an old man.

It seems like several days of soggy this week. Just as the temperature is getting low enough to do winter chores, the rain sets in for days. Frustration. I just can't convince myself to break open wiring harnesses in a car to fix a broken wire while rain falls on my work.

Sigh. Maybe Monday will be better.:(

Down here's a perfect 22°C (71.6°F) and a little humid (30% chance of rain) but that's alright. I haven't gone for a run in a long while and I'm going to take advantage of this perfect weather and go for it today.
