Ok... NOW we're on the same page...Beef, yes. Pork, no. But my preference is a juicy medium rare ribeye. Just barbecued a few the other night.

From Amazon:'Just read an interesting book: DARK WINTER, or How The Sun Is Causing A 30 -Year Cold Spell by John L. Casey; time to replace my rotted fur lined boots.
I gotta go buy a couple more SUVs to help head this off!Casey has studied past solar minimum periods. He argues the last great one sparked the French Revolution of 1789. In Dark Winter, he predicts the new era of cold weather will spark major political and economic upheavals with massive crop destruction, food shortages and riots in the United States and abroad — not to mention significant global loss of life.
Yes, it can be nice in the winter. My two weeks in Jan there was over much too quickly. The summer in Fl is a living hell.Nice. This is precisely why I live in S. Florida.
Well, that, and we don't have so much granola.
I grew up in NJ. The winters were much colder and the summers much hotter than here. We get a nice easterly breeze here in the Southeast. Yes, the humidity is higher, but it grows on you -- like the mold.Yes, it can be nice in the winter. My two weeks in Jan there was over much too quickly. The summer in Fl is a living hell.
Maybe they should've filmed the Twilight movies in that location...
Everybody acclimates. When I lived in Indianapolis, 80 F degrees was sweltering heat and 55 F degrees was the temperature when I started wearing a jacket. When I lived in Los Angeles, it took me a year to quit having the Florida drenching sweats, but then I was acclimated to California. When I was in Phoenix, 108 F was no problem if I could find shade. Now, I'm in Florida. I add extra layers of clothing below 70 F degrees and think, "hot" is above 90 F.The summer in Fl is a living hell.
Even in hell.Everybody acclimates.
Combining heat and humidity produces a statistic called the heat index, which measures how hot it really feels. Gooch also put together a list of the top 10 most uncomfortablecities based on heat index. From the top: Miami, Corpus Christi; Orlando; Phoenix; West Palm Beach, Fla.; Houston; San Antonio; New Orleans; Tampa; and Fort Meyers, Fla.
Darn global warming!View attachment 80346
What's been so bad about the snow in Boston this year, is that it's been coming non-stop. One storm ends and a day or two later, we get hit again. Plus the amounts are unusual. Two storms dumped two feet. And another was a foot. Big one projected for this weekend, after one today (3") and another projected for tomorrow (3"). When will it stop ???
Actually, it's W's fault.Darn global warming!![]()
