Yikes!!! I can't find the exact number but we were mid 80s (~30C) today. Now on our way back to the relentless rain that has been in the area for way too long.

Driest spring in decades in Britain.

 

We went up to Pittsburgh a couple of weeks ago and got to see another spring! Dogwoods and Azeleas had blossomed and dropped here at home but were in full bloom in P'burgh and the hardwood forests up there greening out. Now it's back to high humidity, bugs, bugs, did mention bugs that bite ferociously, and the afternoon thunderstorm to cool things down a bit but the increased humidity just makes it even hotter... Yep, it's summertime on the Coast!

 

Record heat expected today.

 

Yesterday we topped that forecasted temp. Don't recall what that was but today this is the forecast for the next week. Some 30 degrees F drop by Sunday. And an overnight low of 49˚F? I may even have to run the heat.
