Wayne, yeah now you're starting to get into broken block, and engine heater territory. Not surprisingly, as we've gotten such great synthetic lubes, battery designs, improved rubbery compounds for hoses, gaskets, tires, belts and such, people take it all for granted. Moving from Georgia to Minnesota, or even Chicago, actually does require something of the driver and vehicle owner! Likely to go unrealized the first year, but....

Could have been worse, you could have been in Cleveland. Now with only two road games to lose it will make for a perfect 0 - 16 season which is hard to do. :(

...and perfection was, indeed, achieved. Now, with a ton of draft picks (including the 1st and 4th in the first round) and a ton of cap space - they *have* to get better - right? Come to think of it, that is pretty much what I said before the start of last year's 1-15 season.

Thank goodness for the Cavs and the Tribe.

Also, I confess that I am not above a little schadenfreude RE: Bills go and the Ravens watch the playoffs on TV :)
:)

It looks like a week of uncomfortable for me. 38F at night and 54F in the day time.
I was out yesterday buying anode rods and it was refreshing as the temperature dropped from 51F to 47F with a slight, spitting rain.
Remembering how to keep warm inside my jacket and ignore how cold my legs get. Bouncing from a heated car to a heated building and back to the heated car makes the experience fairly painless.
Way more painless than the 17F on the day I left Indianapolis in 1970!

Happy New Year!
Wishing all of you good health.:)

If it's going to be so cold, too bad it can't snow.

It did once. I was there.
