We didn't get ANY. And there are no warnings. That's getting old. You would have thought a disaster was coming. We've been pretty lucky. The only real bad storm we've had was that derecho that came thru.
No power for 8 days. I had to look it up too. I hadn't heard of one.
No warning with that one.

Everybody, send sympathy cards to TCM. It was -5 F in Sawyer ND today.:D

Meanwhile in Florida...tiny sprinkles of rain on streets that have been dry for months.
Horribly slick out there!!!
The temperature is lovely at 70F +/- 5 degrees, but the overcast and sprinkles make life dangerous on the streets.:(
Not going back out until the weather changes!
Either dry again or a good long storm to wash the car slick off the streets.:)

Not unusual. It happens every year, but it sure is awful out there during the slick season.
On some days, you can tell when the rain started by the sound of emergency vehicle sirens.:(

For those of you who think that Mexico is all cacti and dust... this is what it looked like this past sunday at a place about a one hour drive from where I live.

Our 12" turned out to be a few inches at best. I guess the bulk of it hit the Midwest and went to the south of us up here in Cleveland. NYC and my old LI home are getting hammered I guess with a Nor Easter but only a dew inches here in Cleveland.

I think the bulk of it is the news channels need a new story to get everyone past their "trump fatigue". I woke up to a clean driveway, eventhough I was promised several inches.

I have less snow in my yard than I did yesterday. And we were supposed to get up to 3 inches last night.
