Don't have to worry about snow here, just the San Andreas deciding to wake up and suddenly move my neighborhood a few yards North.
Edit: The bad part is that the movement is a step function in a highly underdamped system.

Florida (America's Wang*) is really a sandbar.
There are two spots (about the size of tennis courts) higher than 300 feet. They are on the borders of Georgia and Alabama.
The rest of the state is so flat, the only places you can get a fun car ride is where the road goes over a culvert.
Still, the trees and lack of hot ocean water make hurricanes weaken as they travel across the state.
The only way I'm going to be homeless is when a hurricane wanders north in the Gulf of Mexico and hooks a right into Tampa.

Meanwhile back at the ranch, F temps below 90 all month. Heat index 106F today. Having difficulty trying to mow the lawn between rain showers and partly cloudy. I'll know when the hurricane is close by the clouds forming arcs across the sky.

Thanks. This is turning out to be a strange storm. More unpredictable than I've seen in the past.

There's even a model now saying we could get hit twice.
