It's easy when it's also true and IMO obviously true. OMG, I could use the same IMO misguided argument (like anti-gun rights groups do) for pro-gun groups with a mission statement supporting 2nd amendment rights.
No. The parallel would be an anti-gun group mission statement, "To answer the question: 'Is the gun to blame?'"

The answer, of course, is "yes".

A quote from a coworker this morning that still has me chuckling... "Good thing it's supposed to rain again. My mud was starting to look dehydrated."

It's been pretty wet and looks like it's going to be for at least another week.

Hazardous heat engulfs South Florida as Miami issues first May Heat Advisory in 15 years
Several records have been tied or broken across South Florida this week. Key West, for example, was absolutely baking on Wednesday.

The city tied its highest heat index ever at a sweltering 115 degrees. The actual temperature also reached 92 degrees on Wednesday, which broke its old record for that date of 90 degrees back in 1884.

While Key West is the southernmost point in the U.S., numerous records were broken farther north.

Miami reached 96 degrees on Wednesday, which was its second-highest May temperature on record. The highest was 98 degrees in May 2017.

Yay! It's the first day of...

...humidity!

Florida is a swamp with houses in it, totally over rated insect infested swamp. I had a choice ten years ago - Florida (Fort Myers) or Arizona, one look at the climate of these two was enough to make it clear Arizona is the winner. No roaches (sorry palmetto bugs) no ridiculous humidity (today here it will be 10% late afternoon and often hits single digits in June/July).

In Arizona when you walk into the shade you cool down, because humidity is low perspiration does what its designed to do, it evaporates and lower the temperature of your skin. In Florida and such places one feels the same whether in the sun or in the shade.

Jump in the pool to cool down, then get out and sit under a tree, perfect way to stay cool.

In Arizona we have misters, these work very well again, because of low humidity mist cools you as you sit outside a bar sipping your margarita.

Florida is said to have some endearing qualities, no idea what though.
