Hi, in the picture he wired 2 cables to the tactile switch, but I have found that switch and it doesn't have any holes that the wires can go to. So how can it be done?

 

The wires get soldered to the 2 legs on the switch.

 

You “tin” the connections. That is, heat them up and melt a touch of solder to the connection points. Then, you place the wire on the tinned connection and heat the wire until the solder melts. Carefully remove the heat, don’t move the wire and let the connection cool. If the solder isn’t shiny, try again.

The results of your measurements are confusing. So I can’t tell if they are for a SPDT vs SPDT switch. It’s important which it is!
