i wanted to use MCP 601 in current to voltage converter mode
here input current can be maximum upto 2A

please guide me to clear this issue

Use a very small value resistor in series with your current. Use the OpAmp to measure the voltage across that current sensing resistor. Select OpAmp feedback for the volts-per-ampere ratio you need.

 

See figure 3-9 in attached, as an example.

can u brief me on the MCP 601 is it a standard regulator?
