I would say if the resistance measurements you have taken are close to the ones shown in the video, it suggests the UJT ok.
Why do you believe your UJT is faulty, what effect do get from the circuit you are using.?

Im just starting to learn electronics... my professor is asking me how to evaluate the condition of UJT..
Does it mean I need the circuit just like in the video to test the condition of the UJT?

hi,
If you are learning the theory of a device it always very helpful if you are able to carry tests on a practical circuit that uses that device.
A circuit can be quickly constructed using a solder-less bread board [ the ones with sockets spaced at 0.1inch intervals].

If you have the resources and components, build that simple UJT test circuit and scope the signal points, lets know what you see.
