Or 'Test' a fuse see if it blows when it should.:p
Max.
:D that was an even better analogy.... here are more:
  • test a firecracker
  • test a bullet
  • test a pregnancy test
  • test one's wife sense of humor
I'd advice against the last one... you can always test a bullet against concrete or a thick piece of wood, but testing one's wife will potentially result in grave injury to the tester...

How about those with multiple personality disorder?:(
Max.
Yeah, Max makes a very good point. If the forum denies multiple membership accounts to persons with multiple personalities (Dissociative Identity Disorder) I am pretty sure that is a form of discrimination.

I _did_ once make a fuse tester. ;)

It did not test if the fuse would blow but rather whether the fuse was blown. M dad worked at a greenhouse that had a huge number of 3-phase fans for cooling. If a fuse blew then it was more convenient to replace all off the fuses and then find out later which ones were actually bad.

Then how do you explain this post?

Circuit breaker

How can I test this circuit breaker without applying power, voltage or current? or what kind of test circuit can i build to test the circuit breaker?

They call it a thermal circuit breaker, not sure what that means

What is the difference between having auxiliary contacts and non auxiliary contact?
