Hi,

I need a CPLD for a project, and as I already have an Altera USB blaster (clone), I sourced some ATF1504 from Microchip (the datasheet says it was compatible to Altera 7000 and 3000 series devices).
So I hook up the chip to my programmer, and then tested the JTAG chain using Quartus' Programmer Tool: it does detect a device (UNKNOWN_150403F), but (correct me if I am wrong) I can't program an Atmel device with Quartus.
Then I tested WinCULP and ATMISP, but it doesn't detect my programmer...

I searched the internet but did not find anything relevant on the programming step.

If anyone knows a software that can program such device, I'd appreciate your help!
